Midfielder Proud After Securing Back-to-Back League Titles at Arthur Davies Stadium
Salulani Phiri has expressed his delight after winning his fourth Zambia Super League title following another successful campaign with Power Dynamos.
The experienced midfielder described the achievement as a memorable moment in his career, especially after helping Power Dynamos secure back-to-back league championships.
Fourth League Crown for Salulani
Phiri has now won two league titles with Power Dynamos, matching the two championships he previously collected during his time with Zanaco FC.
Speaking in an exclusive interview, the midfielder said lifting another title remains a special achievement despite his growing experience in the game.
“This is my fourth league title and honestly it feels very special,” Phiri said.
“Winning consecutive titles with Power Dynamos is something I’m really proud of. I also enjoyed success at Zanaco, but defending the title here makes it even more exciting.”
Power Dynamos Finish Strong
Power Dynamos wrapped up the season in impressive fashion after finishing top of the league table with 78 points.
The Kitwe giants successfully defended the title they won last season and ended the campaign as one of the most consistent teams in the league.
On the final day of the season, Power Dynamos secured a comfortable 2-0 victory over Mufulira Wanderers to close the campaign on a high note.
Unbeaten Run Highlights Dominant Season
The victory also extended Power Dynamos’ unbeaten run throughout the year, underlining their dominance in the Zambia Super League.
Phiri played an important role in the club’s successful title defence, contributing experience and leadership in midfield as the team maintained its strong form across the season.
The latest triumph further cements Power Dynamos’ position among the top-performing clubs in Zambian football.
