Green Eagles Unveil Six New Signings Ahead of 2026/27 Season

Green Eagles have bolstered their squad with six new additions as head coach Perry Mutapa continues shaping his team ahead of the 2026/27 MTN Super League campaign.

The Choma-based outfit has strengthened several areas of the squad by combining youthful talent with experienced players as they look to improve on last season’s performance.

Leading the list of arrivals is former FC MUZA attacker Rickson Ng’ambi, who joins after catching the eye with the Elegant Dynamites. The 21-year-old is expected to add creativity, pace and attacking threat to Green Eagles’ forward line.

The club has also completed the signing of promising teenage defensive midfielder Duncan Musialela from BART’S FC, while experienced midfielder Chaniza Zulu arrives from Zanaco FC to add leadership and top-flight experience in the middle of the park.

Green Eagles have further reinforced their midfield by bringing in Penias N. Tonga, the 23-year-old midfielder from Makeni All Stars, alongside Joy Yolamu, who joins from FC Leopards after an impressive spell that attracted interest from several Super League clubs.

Completing the club’s recruitment is Charles Lubasi, a 25-year-old forward signed from Lumwana Radiants, who is expected to provide additional firepower in attack.

The six signings underline Green Eagles’ determination to build a competitive squad capable of challenging for honours under Perry Mutapa as preparations continue for the 2026/27 MTN Super League season.
